Parents of athletes participating in Winter sports are scheduled to work the concession stand at one or more Winter events, please look closely as you may be scheduled from a cancelled fall event AND a winter event. In early December, both kindergarten classes were visited by Merry Backes. Merry, known as "Grandma Merry" to the kindergarten students, gave each and every kindergarten student a reading pillow, along with an activity book, story book, and colored pencils. Merry, a talented seamstress, made the pillows and considerately chose fabric designs that appeal to this age group. Merry began this annual tradition 7 years ago when her oldest grandson was a student in kindergarten. Thank you, Merry, for your generosity and also for promoting the love of reading. #TVPride
