Spring memory lane: Mrs. Hageman's 7th grade students had a busy May. They spent time with their kindergarten buddies, had cup stacking competitions, played games, and performed Reader's Theaters. Thank you to TVEF for purchasing Scope magazines for the students to learn from during the school year! #TVPride

Spring memory lane: Mr. Stepan's 6th grade students helped FFA plant mums to grow over the summer. Great job working as a team! #TVPride

Another great donation came through our Turkey Valley doors today with the Chickasaw County Farm Bureau Federation donating some school supplies. Thanks for coming, Jessica Rochford, and for thinking of our students!

Spring memory lane: each year Mrs. Scheidel's 9th grade science students compete in an egg drop competition. The goal is to create a contraption that will allow their egg to safely fall and not break. #TVPride

Spring memory lane: Mrs. Holmes' mythology students participated in their own Olympics. Congrats to our winners! #TVPride

Spring memory lane: glow party in Mrs. Hackman's kindergarten class and a few group pictures to remember their kindergarten year as they grow! #TVPride

Spring memory lane: The chemistry juniors ended the year with a paper over the chemistry in different topics. Topics included ice cream, food additives, oobleck, nitrogen in plants, juice boxes, and surface tension. The physics students also did a share and tell research of a topic that interests them in physics. Topics included rocketry, baseball swing, golf swing, mousetrap cars, optics, sunsets, and welding. #TVPride

At the end of each school year, teachers that are part of the TV Education Association nominate someone that graciously volunteers their talents or time to our school and our students. This year's Friend of Education recipient was Merry Backes. When her oldest grandson was in kindergarten, she made a reading pillow for each and every kindergarten student. The reading pillow has a pocket for an activity book and colored pencils. Merry delivers them to the students in December which is a very exciting day for them! This past year was year number 6 and she plans to continue as long as she can. We cannot thank you enough Merry for your kindness and for making each of our kindergarten students feel special. Thank you! #TVPride

At the end of each school year we celebrate years of service amongst our staff and bid farewell to those leaving the district. This past spring we had to say goodbye to Mrs. Watt and Mrs. Gray! We wish them the best with their next adventure. We also celebrated 7 staff members for years of servicing ranging from 5 to 15 years! We have the best team! #TVPride

As teachers and staff members get ready to return this week, we fondly remember last spring and cannot wait for our students to return for the 2023-2024 school year. Over the next week we will share a few of our favorite memories from last spring! #TVPride
