Day 2 of the Chicago trip included visits to the Bean, Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum, Lincoln Park Zoo, Navy Pier, and Willis Tower. #TVPride

On Wednesday, April 19 the 7th graders traveled to the NE Iowa Antique Engine and Power Show site in Fredericksburg. The students rotated between different stations that were very informational and hands-on covering topics such as wood working, equipment of the past, and tractors. A great time was had by all! #TVPride

In 11th Grade US History, students were tasked to investigate the Abraham Lincoln assassination. Through primary sources, students researched, built connections, and laid out a mind map of the events, people, and places that led to the assassination on April 15, 1865. #TVPride

Ms. Nystel’s sophomores are beginning their unit on World War II and the Holocaust. Through legal documents, photographs, and personal artifacts, world history students explored the personal histories of several holocaust survivors. All of the materials were provided by the Illinois Holocaust Museum traveling trunk program. #TVPride
