Turkey Valley is looking for a 5-12 Band Teacher:

December brings a special visitor to kindergarten. Both kindergarten classes were visited by Merry Backes. Merry, known as "Grandma Merry" to the kindergarten students, gave each and every kindergarten student a reading pillow, along with an activity book, story book, and colored pencils. Merry, a talented seamstress, made the pillows and considerately chose fabric designs that appeal to this age group. This marks Merry's ninth year for this tradition, which began 8 years ago when her oldest grandson was a student in kindergarten. Merry's grandson's, Lewie and Jack, joined in to celebrate this special tradition. Thank you, Merry, for your generosity and also for promoting the love of reading. #TVPride
